IT WILL CAUSE A TIME-LAG IN THE ACKET-END-ONTROL.

IMILARLY IN 5 ( ONTROL) NEEDS A RESISTOR OF MINIMUM VALUE OF 2.2 KILOHMS,
AND NOT 470 HMS AS IT IS OFTEN QUOTED. URTHERMORE CARE MUST BE TAKEN SO THAT
ONTROL IN 1 OF THE ERIAL -US FOR RINTER AND ISK-RIVE ONTROL IS 
USED,  THIS IS NECESSARY WITH 1570, 1571 AND 1541 RIVES. OME SMALL AMOUNT OF
SOLDERING MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THIS, EITHER IN THE ISK-RIVE OR THE OMPUTER

THE 3105 PROCESSOR. T IS VERY SIMPLE IN CONSTRUCTION, AND ROBUST ENOUGH TO
BE CONSTRUCTED ON EROBOARD, T CAN BE PLUGGED IN STRAIGHT INTO THE CASSETTE
ORT OF THE 64.  ARE MUST BE TAKEN TO AVOID SHORT-CIRCUITS BETWEEN THE
3105 AND THE RYSTAL. N SOME CASES, ESPECIALLY ON  PERATION WHERE HIGH
PERFORMANCE IS NECESSARY, THE MODEM SHOULD BE PLACED IN A SCREENED BOX.
HE MODEM  BE PROPERLY "TUNED" AND ALIGNED. HE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS WILL
ASSIST THE CONSTRUCTOR IN CARRYING OUT THAT VITAL PERATION.

HERE IS A 10 KILOHM ADJUSTABLE OT, CONNECTED TO THE UDIO UTPUT, WHICH

STATIONS ON THE FREQUENCY AND NOTING THE MPLITUDE OF BOTH THE PACE AND ARK
SIGNALS.  HE OT IS THEN ADJUSTED SO THAT BOTH THE HIGHER VALUE ARK AND PACE
SIGNALS CAN BE READ.

F THERE ARE ANY FURTHER PROBLEMS WITH CONNECTIONS TO STATIONS ESPECIALLY UNDER
HEAVY  CONDITIONS, THEN CAREFUL SETTING OF THE  COULD ELIMINATE SUCH
PROBLEMS. OTE THAT  SHOULD NOT BE SET TO LESS THAN 20 AS ANY STATIONS
USING RELAY-SWITCHING TO EITHER THE MAIN RADIO, OR TO ANY AMPLIFIERS, WILL HAVE
DIFFICULTY IN CONNECTING AND MAINTAINING THE CONNECTION. N THE OTHER HAND,
 SETTINGS ABOVE 40 MAY RESULT IN NUMEROUS RE-TRIES, AS DATA CAN GET
CORRUPTED IF IT IS NOT SENT SOON AFTER THE  IS ACTIVATED.
