BMQTH.EXE Version 2.1
10 January 1995

This set of files interfaces the FBB BBS system, with the Buckmaster
CD ROM database as a PG type program. The following files are included
with this distribution. This program will not work with Buckmaster CD
versions before October 94.

BMQTH.EXE
BMQTH.CFG
BMQTH.ENG
BMQTH.TXT

BMQTH is the live lookup for FBB. The program name, determines the
command used at the BBS prompt. What some have done, is re-name BMQTH.EXE
and BMQTH.CFG to QTH.EXE and QTH.CFG. This way, all a user needs to do, is
type QTH at the BBS prompt, and he is into the server. If you want to keep
a common naming convention, you may also rename the BMQTH.ENG file to
QTH.ENG. If this is done, remember to change the name in the language
path section of the CFG file.

The EXE file needs to be in the \FBB\PG\ directory. The CFG file
( which needs to have the same first name ) can be placed in the
\FBB\BIN subdirectory, or any subdirectory in the DOS PATH. The CFG
file must be edited with the proper paths and options before operation.
After installing the software, reboot, and the system will recognize the
presence of the program. At this time, all the user needs to do, is
type the program name at the BBS prompt.

The BMQTH.ENG file contains all the prompts, help texts, and display
words used in the program. This may be changed to suit the local
application, but must be carefully edited. The language file supports
a limited set of the FBB $ variables. Multi-language support has been
added to version 2.0. If you are able to translate the language file,
you may use them by placing the path in the BMQTH.CFG file. The language
files will then switch with the FBB OL command.

The COUNTRY.LST, ALL3.BM, and STA3.BM files used in previous versions
are not used in version 2.0 and above. The CD contains these files, for
easier setup by the sysop. If you are upgrading from previous versions
of the servers, these files may be removed from your hard drive.

In version 2.0, FBB WP information has been added to the lookup. See
the QTHWPALL.EXE doc files for more information on setup of these
programs.

I have a lot of fun programming, but always need feedback for ideas,
and bug fixes. Let me know what is on your mind, even if it is running
fine. Most folks are quiet when things are working right, and gives me
the feeling nobody is running this stuff. Drop me a QSL card and tell me
which program you are running.
