                       Local BBS access via BPQ

You have a BBS and you need to access it from a second computer.
The easiest way is to just put your handheld-with-rubber-duck on same freq as
your VHF radio, and you're talking.
If you use BPQ software as a port driver, you can save yourself a TNC and a
radio because BPQ can do the same without a TNC or radio.

ALL YOU NEED IS A CABLE FROM ONE COMPORT TO THE OTHER AND TO TELL BPQ ABOUT IT.

No other hardware is needed, just the cable.
Of course, you need an available COMport for this.

HOW TO CONFIGURE:
-You need BPQ in both computers.

-Connect a serial-cable (see below) to the COMport of each computer.

-You add a port to each BPQCFG.TXT:

You add the above in both computers to be linked.

Pin numbers are good if you use identical connector at both ends, either DB-25
or DB-9.
If you use a DB-9 at one end, and a DB25 at the other, see table below.

I used the cable that is used with "LapLink-type data-transfer".  It worked.
